timeless beauty<\/em><\/strong> given by P<strong>rofessor Nikolaos Stampolidis, Director General of the Acropolis Museum<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The lecture\u2019s subject is addressed to the major issue related to the Parthenon sculptures\u2019 seizure, their dispersion in various European Museums, mainly in England and France, and the efforts being undertaken for their reunification with the Parthenon body within the New Acropolis Museum.<br \/>\nThus, topics related to the return and reunification of the Parthenon sculptures will be discussed, with particular regard to quality, aesthetics, the pioneering significance of the frieze in relation to the idea of Democracy, and the attempts that have been made, in this direction, in recent
