On Tuesday the 2nd<\/sup> and Wednesday the 3rd<\/sup> of July<\/strong> the Basilica of Maxentius is hosting a rich and exciting exhibition featuring Jonathan Lethem<\/strong>, New York novelist and essayist, considered one of the most significant voices in the current American cultural scene, and Michael Cunningham<\/strong>, Pulitzer Prize-winning author of the novel \u201cThe Hours\u201d, developed into a film by Stephen Daldry starring Meryl Streep, Nicole Kidman and Julianne Moore. The two exceptional evenings will be accompanied by the musical stylings of Ramin Barhami<\/strong>, Iranian composer and pianist of international fame who has always maintained a strong relationship with Italy. The Italian writers Elena Stancanelli<\/strong> and Carmen Pellegrino<\/strong> and actors Massimo Quinto Foschi<\/strong> and Marco Foschi<\/strong> will open each night with readings from Titus Lucretius Carus\u2019 \u201cDe Rerum Natura\u201d in its new translation by author Roberto Herlitzka. All of the two evenings\u2019 protagonists will help create a unique and original event, the concrete product of the dialogue that is possible between the various arts.<\/p>\n

The two evenings are promoted by the Parco archeologico del Colosseo<\/strong> with La Milanesiana<\/strong>, Milanese cultural exhibition made possible by the creativity of Elisabetta Sgarbi, in creative continuity with the Festival Internazionale Letterario di Massenzio<\/strong><\/p>\n
