Full Experience Passage of Commodus<\/p>\n

THE MAXIMUM TIME ALLOWED FOR STAYING IN THE COLOSSEUM IS 90 MINUTES<\/span><\/strong>, as set out in the Visitor Regulations of the Colosseum Archaeological Park<\/a> (Art. 1, para. 4)<\/p>\n

The so-called Passage of Commodus, a vaulted underground passageway, connected the pulvinar (the gallery reserved for the Empire\u2019s high-ranking officials), situated at the southern end of the Colosseum\u2019s minor axis, with the exterior of the monument. Not part of the original construction plans, it was created later, at the turn of the 1st and 2nd centuries AD, by excavating the foundations of the Flavian Amphitheatre.<\/p>\n

The ticket is valid for 2 consecutive days.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Guided tours take place on Mondays and Wednesdays and always include the educational tour:<\/p>\n

Italian at 2.00 pm
\nEnglish at 3.00 pm
\nSpanish at 1.00 pm<\/p>\n

Entrance<\/strong>: Colosseum, Piazza del Colosseo side (Valadier entrance)
\nYou can book your entry time for the Colosseum and decide whether to visit the Roman Forum and the Palatine Hill before or after.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Available to purchase online from 7 DAYS before the date of your visit.<\/p>\n

Valid for 2 consecutive DAYS for a SINGLE entry to the Colosseum only at the booked time<\/strong> and a SINGLE entry to the Roman Forum, Palatine Hill and SUPER sites<\/strong> on the same day and\/or the day before or the day after.<\/p>\n
