Y&amp;Co is more than just an app: <strong>it\u2019s a visit to the PArCo that users can experience on site or remotely<\/strong>, with <strong>audio-video guides in 9 languages, audio descriptions for the visually impaired<\/strong> in Italian and English, <strong>video guides<\/strong> in Italian Sign Language (<strong>LIS<\/strong>) and American Sign Language (<strong>ASL<\/strong>) and <strong>special content for kids<\/strong> in Italian and English with animations by Silvio Costa. <strong>Y&amp;Co stands for You and Colosseo but also You and Community, that is to say all of us united by a common passion and interest in the Parco archeologico del Colosseo<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Y&amp;Co app was conceived as a way to give visitors a deeper look into the tactile panels positioned throughout the PArCo, in the Colosseum (2<sup>nd<\/sup> tier), the Roman Forum and the Palatine, in the name of the Design for All philosophy<\/strong>. These tactile panels use floor plans and 3D reproductions to illustrate some of the PArCo\u2019s monuments and a selection of the objects housed in the Palatine Museum. The app\u2019s contents will also be accessible via the <strong>Qr-codes<\/strong> placed along the proposed tactile itineraries.<\/p>\n<p>Y&amp;Co is the app designed to allow <em>all<\/em> our guests to plan their visit before coming to the PArCo and follow up on what they\u2019ve seen afterwards, all free of charge.<\/p>\n<p>The app contains 4 different ways to experience the PArCo:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>General tour available in 9 different languages (Italian, English, French, Russian, Chinese, Japanese, German, Spanish, Portuguese) with additional multimedia content<\/li>\n<li>Tour for kids, with the mascot Vestal Tarpeia (Italian and English) and multimedia content<\/li>\n<li>Tour for the visually impaired (Italian and English), with audio descriptions<\/li>\n<li>Tour for the hearing-impaired (LIS and ASL) with official interpreters<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Y&amp;Co app also comes with a map: by turning notifications on in the Menu section, users will be notified when they\u2019re in proximity of one of the PArCo\u2019s monuments or objects of interest.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/play.google.com\/store\/apps\/details?id=it.parcocolosseo.yandco\"><strong>https:\/\/play.google.com\/store\/apps\/details?id=it.parcocolosseo.yandco<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/apps.apple.com\/app\/id1549653486\"><strong>https:\/\/apps.apple.com\/app\/id1549653486<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Y&amp;Co \u2013 You and Colosseo is the new app for Android and iOS, curated and promoted by the PArCo (Giulia Giovanetti, Paola Quaranta, Federica Rinaldi and Andrea Schiappelli) and created by Ruschena\u2019s Projects.
