The few words we are able to express are dedicated to Andrea, his family, and his loved ones: we extend our profound and sorrowful condolences to all in the face of the senseless death of a young man carrying out his work<\/em>,&#8221; stated the <strong>Minister of Culture, Alessandro Giuli<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"2\">\n<p data-path-to-node=\"2\">____________<\/p>\n<p><strong>TECHNICAL INFORMATION<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The closure applies to all admissions scheduled from 10.30 am until the end of today\u2019s opening hours, 23 September 2026.<br \/>\nWith regard to bookings affected by the closure, <strong>refunds will be issued for admissions scheduled from 10.30 am onwards<\/strong>.<br \/>\n<strong>It is therefore not necessary to submit individual refund requests or further correspondence regarding the bookings in question<\/strong>.<br \/>\n<strong>We kindly ask you to wait until the relevant procedures have been completed, and to refrain from sending multiple requests, as this could slow down the administrative processes currently underway<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The closure is an exceptional measure adopted by the Ministry of Culture and, as such, it is not possible to grant access, reinstate visits scheduled for 23 September 2026 or make individual exceptions to the measure.<br \/>\nOur team is working to process all affected bookings as promptly as possible.<\/p>\n<p>We are aware of the consequences this exceptional situation may have for your planning and thank you for your cooperation and understanding.<br \/>\nAt this time of deep sorrow, we also wish to reiterate our deepest condolences and express our solidarity with the family, loved ones and colleagues of Andrea Moretti, who has tragically passed away.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Ministry of Culture and the Colosseum Archaeological Park express their deepest sympathies to the family of Andrea Moretti, a specialized rope access technician, who passed away last night inside the Flavian Amphitheatre following a workplace accident.
