Announcing the seventh and final date of the conference series"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The ancient Roman Senate opens its doors to the public once again for the <strong><em>PArCo Thursdays<\/em><\/strong> lecture series, with\u00a0 <strong>\u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/colosseo.it\/en\/event\/classical-roots-origins-of-the-feminine-the-new-lecture-series-in-the-curia-iulia-from-12-september-to-31-october\/\">Radici classiche: alle origini del femminile<\/a><\/strong>\u201d, (\u201cClassical roots: the origins of the feminine\u201d), a series of conferences that compares the representations and daily lives of women in Roman society and later periods.<\/p>\n<p>Against the evocative backdrop of the Curia Iulia <strong>the conferences, in the form of conversations between two specialists, give the public the opportunity to reflect together upon the history of Roman women<\/strong> and upon those aspects that continue to influence our interpretation of female existence within domestic, public and political spheres up to the current day.<\/p>\n<p>The Sixth date is scheduled for Thursday 31 October, at 16:30 in the Curia Iulia.
