Join us Wednesday, 30 October<\/strong> starting at 16:00<\/strong> for the presentation of the project \u201cCura, cultura e bellezza. <\/strong>Prevenzione: il ruolo delle terapie integrate\u201d<\/strong> (\u201cHealth, culture and beauty. <\/strong>Prevention: the role of integrated therapies\u201d<\/strong>), marking the expansion of the collaboration between the MiBAC <\/strong>and Komen Italia<\/strong> with the Parco archeologico del Colosseo<\/strong> with a three-year operational act.<\/p>\n

The project is based on the awareness that art, highest expression of the search for beauty in all its forms, can be part of an integrated approach with medical science to improve cancer patients\u2019 quality of life. Recent studies have in fact confirmed that proximity to a work of art can help reduce the feelings of stress and depression that often affect people living with cancer, and can improve their ability to recover and their overall quality of life.<\/p>\n

The Parco archeologico del Colosseo has already been working for several months in this direction with the Park-in-PArCo<\/strong> Project (designed for those affected by Parkinson\u2019s Disease), which culminated in May 2019 with the Salus per Artem<\/strong> conference.<\/p>\n

The project is committed to organizing theoretic and practical educational workshops every three months on a specific complementary therapy.<\/p>\n
