Ravasi"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>To mark the recent restauration of the fresco depicting an ideal view of the city of Jerusalem, visible in the Flavian Amphitheater on the rear arch of the <em>Porta Triumphalis<\/em>, facing the Roman Forum, the Colosseum is hosting a <strong><em>lectio magistralis<\/em> by His Eminence Cardinal Gianfranco Ravasi<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The fresco, painted in the 17<sup>th<\/sup> century, is traditionally dated to the pontificate of Clement X (1670-1676) in occasion of the renovations made for the celebrations of the 1675 Jubilee.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The <em>lectio magistralis<\/em>, entitled \u201cLe tre pietre sacre di Gerusalemme\u201d (\u201cThe three holy stones of Jerusalem\u201d), will be available on the PArCo\u2019s social media platforms starting on Friday, 23 October 2020.<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>To mark the recent restauration of the fresco depicting an ideal view of the city of Jerusalem, visible in the Flavian Amphitheater on the rear arch of the Porta Triumphalis, facing the Roman Forum, the Colosseum is hosting a lectio magistralis by His Eminence Cardinal Gianfranco Ravasi.
