The \u201cPArCo Thursdays<\/strong>\u201d conference series continues on Thursday 14 March<\/strong>, in the splendid location of the Curia Iulia<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

For the occasion, Rossella Rea<\/strong>, archaeologist and director of studies at the Templum Pacis<\/em>, and Riccardo Santangeli Valenzani<\/strong>, professor of medieval archaeology and urban archaeology at the University of Roma Tre, will present the contribution \u201cThe Temple of Peace: transformation of the urban landscape from the Forma Urbis<\/em> to the modern age<\/strong>\u201d, discussing the marble property map created under Septimius Severus and illustrating the transformations that the urban landscape has undergone from the time of ancient Rome up to the modern era.<\/p>\n

The conference, coinciding with National Landscape Day<\/strong>, will begin at 16.00<\/strong> and will proceed with Luigi Scaroina\u2019s lecture \u201cThe discovery of a fragment of the Forma Urbis<\/em> at the Temple of Peace<\/strong>\u201d (project by M.G. Filetici). The conference will conclude with a projection of the multimedia reconstruction of the Forma Urbis<\/em> and a guided tour of the Templum Pacis<\/em>.<\/p>\n
