{"id":48583,"date":"2024-11-01T23:22:36","date_gmt":"2024-11-01T22:22:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/colosseo.it\/?post_type=tribe_events&#038;p=48583"},"modified":"2024-11-03T20:53:01","modified_gmt":"2024-11-03T19:53:01","slug":"3-4-november-2024","status":"publish","type":"tribe_events","link":"https:\/\/colosseo.it\/en\/event\/3-4-november-2024\/","title":{"rendered":"Free admission Sunday 3rd November and Monday 4th November 2024 | domenicalmuseo and National Unity Day and Armed Forces Day"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>SUNDAY 3rd NOVEMBER 2024<\/strong> and <strong>MONDAY 4TH NOVEMBER<\/strong> entrance to the <strong>Colosseum Archaeological Park<\/strong> <strong>is free FROM 8.30 AM TO 4.30 PM (LAST ENTRANCE 3.30 PM)<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>Route <a href=\"https:\/\/colosseo.it\/en\/tickets\/24h-colosseum-roman-forum-and-palatine\/\">Colosseum, Roman Forum, Palatine<\/a>\u00a0a single visit to the Colosseum, the Roman Forum and the Palatine<\/li>\n<li>Route <a href=\"https:\/\/colosseo.it\/en\/tickets\/forum-pass-super-ticket\/\">Forum Pass<\/a>\u00a0to visit the Imperial Forums, the Roman Forum and the Palatine in a single visit<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Tickets can be obtained, in order of arrival, <strong>at\u00a0the ticket office in Piazza del Colosseo, located near the Temple of Venus and Rome, and at the ticket office in Largo della Salara Vecchia.<\/strong><br \/>\nDuring these days the <a href=\"https:\/\/colosseo.it\/en\/support-and-participate\/membership\/\">Membership Card<\/a> and Roma Pass holders will also be able to collect their free tickets at the ticket office, in order of arrival.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tickets must be collected for each day and <\/strong><strong>will be valid on Sunday 3rd November and Monday 4th November 2024<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The permanent section of the exhibition event <a href=\"https:\/\/colosseo.it\/en\/event\/giacomo-boni-the-dawn-of-modernity-the-exhibition-widespread-between-the-palatine-and-the-roman-forum-opens-on-15-december\/\"><strong>&#8220;Giacomo Boni. The dawn of modernity&#8221;<\/strong><\/a> will be open at <strong>the Santa Maria Nova complex<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>WHAT YOU CAN VISIT:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Colosseum, Roman Forum, Palatine<\/li>\n<li>in the Roman Forum Museum at the Santa Maria Nova complex the permanent section of the exhibition event &#8216;Giacomo Boni. The Dawn of Modernity&#8217; will be open<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>It will also be possible to access the Basilica of St. Francesca Romana directly from the portal located inside the PArCo, near the Arch of Titus.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\">WHAT WILL REMAIN CLOSED:<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">For conservation reasons, and in compliance with the restrictions on free Sundays, <strong>it will not be possible<\/strong> to enter to the panoramic elevator and upper levels nor to the arena and underground areas of the Colosseum, the exhibition &#8220;G\u00f6beklitepe: L\u2019enigma di un luogo sacro&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The exhibition &#8220;Penelope&#8221;, the Farnese Aviaries, the Curia Iulia or the SUPER sites of the Roman Forum-Palatine (House of Augustus, House of Livia, Santa Maria Antiqua, Oratory of the Forty Martyrs, Temple of Romulus, Aula Isiaca with Loggia Mattei, Palatine Museum).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Domus Aurea is not part of the initiative.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>THE DOMUS TIBERIANA WILL BE OPEN AND FULLY ACCESSIBLE.
