SUNDAY 3rd AUGUST 2025 the Parco archeologico del Colosseo adheres to the initiative domenicalmuseo with the following visiting options:

• Route Colosseum, Roman Forum, Palatine a single visit to the Colosseum, the Roman Forum and the Palatine
• Route Forum Pass to visit the Imperial Forums, the Roman Forum and the Palatine in a single visit

Tickets can be obtained, in order of arrival, at the ticket office in Piazza del Colosseo, located near the Temple of Venus and Rome, and at the ticket office in Largo della Salara Vecchia.
During the Free Sundays the Membership Card and Roma Pass holders will also be able to collect their free tickets at the ticket office, in order of arrival.

Tickets will be valid on Sunday 3rd AUGUST 2025

The permanent section of the exhibition event “Giacomo Boni. The dawn of modernity” and one section of the exhibition “Magna Mater. Tra Roma e Zama” will be open at the Santa Maria Nova complex.

WHAT YOU CAN VISIT:

• Colosseum, Roman Forum, Palatine
• in the Roman Forum Museum at the Santa Maria Nova complex the permanent section of the exhibition event ‘Giacomo Boni. The Dawn of Modernity’ and the exhibition “Magna Mater. Tra Roma e Zama” will be open
• IT WILL ALSO BE POSSIBLE TO ACCESS THE CHURCH OF SANTA FRANCESCA ROMANA DIRECTLY FROM THE GATEWAY LOCATED INSIDE THE PARK, NEAR THE ARCH OF TITUS.

WHAT WILL REMAIN CLOSED:

For conservation reasons, and in compliance with the restrictions on free Sundays, it will not be possible to enter to the panoramic elevator and upper levels nor to the arena and underground areas of the Colosseum, the Farnese Aviaries, the Ninfeo della Pioggia, the Temple of Romulus, the Curia Iulia, the Horrea Piperataria or the SUPER sites of the Roman Forum-Palatine (House of Augustus, House of Livia, Santa Maria Antiqua, Oratory of the Forty Martyrs, Aula Isiaca with Loggia Mattei, Palatine Museum).

The Domus Aurea is not part of the initiative.

THE DOMUS TIBERIANA WILL BE OPEN AND FULLY ACCESSIBLE. THE EXHIBITION ROOMS WILL REMAIN CLOSED.
