On March 15, 2018, to mark the date of the anniversary of the death of Julius Caesar in 44 BC, the Parco archeologico del Colosseo hosted a historical reenactment of the “Ides of March”, organized by the Associazione Decima Legio and the Gruppo Storico Romano. The reenactment of the funeral procession arrived before the Temple of the Divus Iulius, and there performed the monologue of Calpurnius Piso and recited the orations of Brutus and Mark Antony.
