For the second year, the Parco archeologico del Colosseo is participating in National families at the museum day (F@MU), and for the 2019 edition we have a rich calendar of events in store at the Palatine Museum in the name of accessibility for all visitors.
This year’s theme—ONCE UPON A TIME AT THE MUSEUM—presents the art of storytelling to the F@MU public as a unique and efficient means of cultural mediation.
F@MU, now in its 7th edition, has chosen the Palatine Museum as the symbolic location of this year’s inauguration. Is there any better place than the Parco archeologico del Colosseo to tell a story?
Here are the activities lined up for 13 October:

10.00 – 11.30 ‘’Write your own caption’’

Interactive captions: learning activity for kids aged 6-12.

And for their younger siblings: ‘’Let’s color the PArCo’’

10.30 – 11.30 “The PArCo in your hands”

Tactile visit for blind and visually impaired kids to get to know the history of the Palatine Museum.

11.00 – 12.30 “FamiLIS Museum”

Guided tour in Italian Sign Language to discover the Palatine Museum’s greatest treasures.

Reservations are mandatory to participate in activities.
The child and his or her adult guardian will have free entry to the Parco archeologico del Colosseo to participate in the Palatine Museum activities upon presenting a printed copy of the email sent to the adult guardian at the Arch of Titus entrance, Via Sacra, 00186 Roma RM.
