From Wednesday 1 May 2024 the Colosseum Archaeological Park introduces some novelties:

TICKETS

• new 24H Only Arena ticket with the following features
  valid 24 hours from the first access, it includes entrance and exit from the Sperone Stern side, with visit only to the arena floor; it also includes the Roman Forum, the Palatine, the SUPER sites and the Imperial Forums and the current exhibitions as long as they are valid for 24 hours from the first access stamp
• new graphics for paper tickets that can be collected at ticket offices
• when booking online, the user will receive the ticket with a new graphic design including a clear map, as well as indications and the main features of the services booked; the visitors’ regulations, available in Italian, English and Spanish, will also be attached
• the Membership Card will be distributed as an exclusively digital product
• whistleblowing: in order to combat the phenomena of secondary ticketing, i.e. the sale of tickets through unauthorised channels and at increased prices, we intend to raise awareness among consumers so that they only use the official sales channels (physical and online) of the primary and secondary market, and pay particular attention to the price requested for the ticket, which must always correspond to the nominal price printed on the ticket matrix.
  Anyone who has been the victim of an illegal secondary ticketing practice may submit a report via the form https://ticketing.colosseo.it/whistleblowing/

  NEW ENTRANCES

• opening of the Colosseum entrance from the Sperone Stern side reserved to 24H Only Arena ticket holders
• opening of a new entrance from Via del Foro Romano
  

  APP

• in the first days of May 2024 the new free app MyColosseum will be available, support for the visit with free audioguides and direct link for the purchase of tickets; in the first version the app will be available in Italian and English language

  TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF TICKET OFFICES

To allow for a smooth handover between the previous service concessionaire and the incoming provider

• on 30 April 2024 the ticket offices will close at 3.00 p.m., however the issuing of free tickets will be guaranteed and they can be collected near the entrances
• on 1 and 2 May 2024 the cash desks will remain closed; the daily availability of tickets will be transferred to https://ticketing.colosseo.it/ and there will still be staff on the square who will facilitate the purchase of tickets and guarantee the issue of free tickets
