The Questura di Roma (Rome Police Headquarters) has ordered the closure of the archaeological area of the Imperial Fora from 10.30 am on 25 April 2025.

From 10.30 a.m. on Friday 25 April 2025 and until needs cease (presumably until 12.30 p.m.) the area highlighted in red on the map will therefore be closed to the public.

All holders of a valid ticket for the Parco archeologico del Colosseo will be able to access without any problem and visit the entire Archaeological Park, except for the area highlighted in red

They will be closed temporarily:
∙ the entire archaeological site of the Imperial Fora and the Mercati di Traiano – Museo dei Fori Imperiali, from the morning and until needs cease
∙ the transit on Via dei Fori Imperiali, from Piazza Venezia to Largo Corrado Ricci
