On November 20, 2024 evacuation drills are planned. They will affect all the open areas and offices of the Colosseum Archaeological Park.

Below are the timetables of the tests that will affect areas frequented by the public:

TIMETABLES

9.30 Colosseum
13.30 Roman Forum/Palatine – Santa Maria Nova offices

  • COLOSSEUM

The security drill will consist in the exit of visitors and workers through the emergency exits; upon completion of the rehearsal visitors will be allowed to enter the monument again as already tested in 2023

  • ROMAN FORUM, FORUM MUSEUM AND PALATINE

The test for the Roman Forum/Palatine area consists of collecting visitors at the collection points; no exit from the PArCo area is planned
Santa Maria Nova Offices: the test will be carried out by means of an acoustic announcement and will involve the exit of all staff on duty

Visitors and tour operators are kindly requested to facilitate the evacuation tests by following the instructions given by the staff, not to hinder the exit and re-entry operations, and to avoid stopping and staying inside the Colosseum during the activity.
