The ‘A Night in the Roman Forum’ itinerary includes a guided tour of approximately 60 minutes in the area of the Roman Forum.
The heart of the social and political life of ancient Rome, the Roman Forum was the administrative and representative centre of the city. From the 7th century onwards, part of the area was buried, so much so that it became a grazing area and took the name Campo Vaccino (‘Cattle Field’), but some monuments continued to live on thanks to the reuse of ancient structures as new churches.
