To mark European Museum Night, the Parco archeologico del Colosseo is offering a special evening opening of the Colosseum’s arena level.

From 10.00 am Roma time on 21 May, tickets can be booked for a nominal fee of €1 on the official website of the Parco archeologico del Colosseo: https://ticketing.colosseo.it/eventi/notte-europea-dei-musei/

Entry will be via Piazza del Colosseo from 7.30 pm, with last admission at 10.40 pm.

The monument is scheduled to close at 11.00 pm.

European Night of Museums is an initiative promoted by the French Ministry of Culture and adopted by the Italian Ministry of Culture, under the patronage of UNESCO, the Council of Europe and the International Council of Museums (ICOM), which takes place simultaneously across Europe with the aim of encouraging and promoting awareness of national and European cultural heritage and identity.
