From the reopening of the scenic walking path along the slopes of the Palatine to the themed visits to the sites of the exhibition Roma Universalis on the Palatine Hill and Forum, from the guided tour of the House of the Vestals to the conferences with the great minds of archaeology in the Curia Iulia, and of course the open-air workshops for kids: we’re kicking off the first edition of Museum Week – “Settimana dei Musei” at the Parco archeologico del Colosseo from 5 to 10 March, six days of free entry dedicated to culture, thanks to the support of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities. Conferences, guest speakers, guided tours, workshops — organized by the PArCo in collaboration with Electa and Coopculture — will all enrich the cultural offering of a special week: a celebration of museums and archaeological areas open to all. Visitors will be able to take part in the numerous activities that enliven the Parco archaeologico del Colosseo on a daily basis. In occasion of the event, just like on free Sundays, guests will be able to visit the “reunited” Forums, thanks to the collaboration of Rome’s Musei in Comune and the Sovrintendenza Capitolina.
