The Parco archeologico del Colosseo – in view of the incoming heat wave – has activated, with the collaboration of the European Organisation of Volunteers for Prevention and Civil Protection of Rome, a medical assistance unit composed of two ambulances that will be present in the square in front of the Colosseum (on the side of the Arch of Constantine) to offer assistance to citizens and the many tourists who have progressively increased in the last two weeks. From 20 August until 9 September there will also be a gazebo where CoVID19 antigen swabs can be carried out at the request of citizens and visitors.

“The health and safety of our visitors has never been as central to our commitment as it has been in recent years – states Alfonsina Russo, Director of the Parco archeologico del Colosseofor this reason, also this year, in continuity with previous years, a medical unit will be at the service of citizens and tourists with two ambulances ready to manage and support any criticality that may be encountered”.

The service will operate from 10 August to 9 September from 9.00 a.m. to 7.00 p.m. seven days a week.
