We would like to inform the public that, on Friday 30 and Saturday 31 October 2026, there will be some changes to the entrances and ticket office services at the Colosseum Archaeological Park.

Specifically:

• The ticket offices at
Piazza del Colosseo
Largo Salara Vecchia

Foro Romano 1
will be closed.
TICKETS WILL THEREFORE NOT BE ON SALE AT THESE TICKET OFFICES

• The Domus Aurea ticket office will be temporarily relocated to the entrance on Viale della Domus Aurea.

• The entrance to the Mamertine Prison will be closed, resulting in the suspension of ticket sales for both days.

• The gate connecting the Roman Forum and the Imperial Fora will remain closed.

• The gate leading from the Roman Forum to the Curia Iulia will remain closed.

• The Curia Iulia will not be open to visitors on Saturday 31 October.

Visitors holding a Forum Pass Super ticket who wish to move between the Roman Forum and the Imperial Forums area, and vice versa, will be able to do so by accessing the site from the outside on both days.
