The international conference Archeosite. The present of archaeology. Protection, management and enhancement of archaeological sites in Europe and the Mediterranean, organised by the Colosseum Archaeological Park and the Department for the Promotion of Cultural Heritage of the Ministry of Culture, aims to promote dialogue with public institutions and bodies responsible for the protection and enhancement of archaeological heritage sites, in order to share challenges, critical issues and best practices.

The meeting will focus on a comparison between various archaeological sites in the Italy, Europe and in the Mediterranean areas, which will discuss and exchange views on organization, objectives and challenges related the protection, management and enhancement of  the archaeological heritage.

The conference days will be structured on a thematic basis and will be divided into three sessions:

Protection, restoration and monitoring
Management and fundraising (financing, ticketing)
Communication, audience engagement and development

HOW TO PARTICIPATE
The poster session will take place online.
All posters will be published  in a dedicated section of the official website of the Parco archeologico del Colosseo.
Authors are responsible for acquiring the copyright of the images for presentation and publication.
