State museums, archaeological parks and cultural sites including castles, abbeys, monumental complexes, villas and gardens will remain open on Ferragosto (15th August).

The Parco archeologico del Colosseo will be open from 8.30 a.m. to 7.15 p.m. with last admission at 6.15 p.m.

It will be an opportunity to visit the residences of the Augustan complex: the House of Augustus and the House of Livia (recently reopened to the public after a long restoration) for which multimedia tours in Italian and English are available, included in the entrance ticket.
We suggest that you purchase the Forum Pass SUPER ticket, which allows access to the special sites of the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill and is always available.

Please note that there is no free admission on 15 August.
